Cameras & ISA
Cameras and speed limiting technologies are used to reduce the number of people killed and seriously injured in London.
The LRSU project manages the London Safety Camera Partnership (LSCP), which uses cameras to enforce speeds and reduce the number of people running red lights.
LRSU has researched and developed intelligent speed adaptation (ISA) technology to help drivers adhere to the speed limit in London. New and emerging technology can help LRSU to further reduce collisions in the future.
The following pages explain the work of the LSCP and how ISA technology is currently being trialled in London.
