How does my school become accredited?

Writing a School Travel Plan (STP) used to be a time consuming task, we are now working on a new online system to make that process easier by combining your STP with the accreditation application. Please visit the site in January to see how you can complete your STP and become accredited online

If your school is already working on the STP and accreditation application and evidence folder then that is fine. Please stay in contact with your borough officer to ensure your school is on track.

  • New hands up survey data
  • Completion of 10 travel initiatives under walking, cycling, road safety, public transport and smarter driving)
  • Completion of 5 other initiatives linked to promotion, curriculum and partnerships
