Aims & objectives

The aim of the LSCP is to reduce deaths and casualties caused by speeding and red light running
in London.

Objectives

• To enforce speed limits in targeted collision 'hotspots' and areas of community concern around London.
• To communicate with and educate Londoners about the dangers and consequences of speed and red light running.
• To contribute to a reduction in casualties in London, in accordance with the Mayor's Road Safety Targets for 2010.
